Accessibility statement

Last updated: 5 October 2026

We want everyone who works in a children's home to be able to use The Residential Care App, including people who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification or speech recognition. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What you can do

  • Use every page with a keyboard; forms have visible labels and clear error messages.
  • Zoom text up to 200% without losing content; use light or dark mode.
  • Sign in with a passkey (Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello) instead of typing a password.

Known limitations

  • Some charts show detail on hover; the same figures are shown in a table beside them.
  • Older PDF guidance documents may not be fully accessible; ask us for an accessible version.

Tell us about a problem

Email support@residentialchildcareapp.co.uk with the page and what went wrong. We aim to reply within 5 working days.
